Final Boss: Customize It
Ready to take your arcade to the next level? Want an arcade that looks just like you remember playing back then? It’s time to customize and make it your own.
Skins
Customize your kit with a custom skin. All the graphics for your arcade can fit on one 8.5x11 sheet of sticker paper. Create your own using our templates or print off one of the user contributed skins from our subreddit r/zeroarcadeskins
Our templates are perfectly sized for use with cutting machines such as the Cricut. With the print then cut feature you can print out your design on sticker paper and have it perfectly cut ready to be applied to your cabinet. Adding stickers also hides all the part connection spots so your cabinet looks finished with no signs of how it was put together! Take it one step further and cover the design with clear self adhesive vinyl so give your stickers a waterproof, glossy finish. Tip if you’re using print then cut on the Cricut, if you only apply the clear vinyl over the stickers and leave the black calibration outline uncovered, the Cricut can still calibrate itself for perfect cuts every time.
Paint
Another way to mod your arcade is with paint! We’ve found that the easiest solution for adding a pop of color to the edges, joystick or buttons is with Paint Pens. Simply color parts of the kit with the paint pen and let dry before putting the kit together.
